This is the new style, the holes are a lot smaller than on my older ones. I secure them to the rack with the roof rack tie down loops, I have a recovery box that i put on top of the Sand Rails and secure it using the tie down loops, the loops also keep the box from moving side to side.

Those stack well together. I could store those on the bottom side of my basket running left to right. Hmmmm...

You sure can, if I had the space I would store them under the rack like the front runner table set up, but my rack has about .5 inch clearance from the roof.
