Cheap Planar heaters

Anyone got any experience with the cheap Planar heater copies that are knocking about on Ebay?
I usually in the "if it's too cheap, it's probably cheap for a reason" camp. But for the money, I'm tempted.

Been wondering the same thing myself pal, came across a thread on Facebook the other day about these.. mixed bag really!
People saying they are a hazard and have burst into flames, noisey and poor output. Others saying they’ve had them fitted a while and they’ve been great.
It’s always the same asking for reviews.. you get both ends of the spectrum as I’m sure you know. In my opinion though, from what iv read I’d be a bit cautious.. end of the day it’s a burner made in China, we all know the amazing world beating quality the Chinese kick out ;) you’re asking it to run faultlessly for long periods, of it does fail it could quite easily take your life :(
