I’ve never relied on solar to keep the battery in the tongue box charged or provide power while camping. Years ago I picked up a cheap Harbor Freight 45w setup as a backup and to test the practicality of what my solar needs might be. For years I kept two panels (15w each) stored in the RTT and found for a weekend the 30w total was enough to sustain my needs. After seeing a post on a solar thread, I decided to use an Amazon gift card and upgrade. So I ordered this...

My buddy for whom I bought the Road Shower to repay him for all the help he’s given me fabricated a roof rack for a van he is converting to an expedition vehicle. Installed the rack and the Road Shower today.
Some time this week the ARB awning will get installed on the passenger side of the rack.

Got my new Dokia 80w solar panel and charge controller. Definitely a big step up from my previous solar setup that I got from Harbor Freight a few years ago that only put out 30w.

I see the Trump admin just put a tariff on solar panels and washing machines from China, so you purchased your solar panel just in time; I've read most solar panels are made in China.

Wow, pretty amazing. I was in China 24 years ago as well as recently. The first time "every" scooter had a small 2 cycle engine, this latest time "all" scooters were electric.

My wife will tell you that I am not known for my patience, but my trailer has been a labor of love. I never felt the need to get everything done all at once, but have methodically progressed to where I am today. And a lot of times there were things I didn’t even know about until I saw someone else do it.
I know that feeling. Years ago I used to drive between L.A. and S.D., at the time I was building a dune buggy. The 2 hr. drive really helped out in problem solving. Start in S.D. and have the solution by the time I got back in town about 2 am.
The only issue I had when I first purchased the trailer was due to shocks not being installed. Empty, the trailer would bounce on a bumpy road. That was resolved once the shocks were installed. As the trailer sits now with the tongue box and battery, rooftop tent, highlift Jack, Road shower and spare tire it is never really empty. And it tracks like a champ both on and off road.
I wouldn’t swap the axle. I know others have commented about making sure most of the weight needs to be forward. I am running a spare on the rear as well, but the tongue box/battery and RTT move the CG forward. With your tent centered over the axle, the boat singing off the end and the spare, your CG might be a little too far aft.
