I am always looking out for gear I might have overlooked or felt I didn’t need in past. I saw (no pun intended) another member post this saw from Agawa Canyon and decided I should add it to my kit.

Are you the one that posted it a few months back? I took it to an 8” log and it went right through it with not to much effort. And a very clean cut to boot.

I had an issue with the relief valve on the fill cap of my Roadshower failing. I contacted Kelsey at Roadshower via email Wednesday afternoon and explained the problem and she emailed me back within an hour. She told me she would send me a replacement which arrived today. Great customer service.

When I bought the trailer the PO threw in a combo ball/pintle hitch. It’s worked fine over the years, albeit a little noisy and clunky. I always had the intention of going with a dedicated pintle hitch and finally got around to getting one. Now we will see if there is much of a difference.

**Update - After just a quick drive around the block, the difference with the pintle hitch is night and day. Almost no clunking and banging from the hitch, even when braking hard or accelerating quickly. Now I’m just afraid I’ll forget the trailer is back there without that audible reminder.

So, it looks like it has a smaller diameter, which would take away the extra slop. Nice!

It was hard to see, and maybe you already know, but make sure you cross your safety chains. Although, the pintle set up is a pretty secure setup

Headed over to a buddy’s today to work on a spare tire mount for the trailer so I filled the Roadshower this morning knowing it would be in the Vegas sun for a few hours. In direct sunlight the temp is maxed out at 118.

We reinforced the sheet metal on the back of the trailer with a couple of back plates in order to spread out the load

New pop up gazebo arrived today. Works as advertised and very pleased with my purchase.

Packed length is about 6ft


To transport, I’ll load it atop my RTT keeping it in place with my cargo net.




Plans are to use the gazebo primarily as a camp kitchen tent and supplemental gear storage. Bugs generally aren’t a problem out here in the desert, but this will certainly help.



And I can actually stand up in this one with headroom to spare.

Hooked up my trailer to my new rig, 2016 4Runner Trail Premium. I still have the Jeep, but needed to replace my wife’s 2005 Lexus sedan that had 290k miles. The 4 pin trailer connector wouldn’t quite reach so I ordered a 4 to 7 pin adapter that will give me the extra length I need. Took it for a spin around the block and you don’t even know it’s there. Pretty excited about having another off-road capable vehicle that can tow the trailer.

It doesn't look like much now, yet the bones are in excellent condition. Not bad for $50!

The top will go and the axle will be upgraded as will the tires. When finished it will look a lot like yours.

Lots of potential right there. I recommend at least a pintle hitch, if not a max coupler for off-road.

I have a US military pintle hitch on the shelf I was planning on using. However, turns out my Rover came with a '60s version of a British military hitch. Somewhere down the line the pin went missing and someone replaced it with a ball.

If you do a web search for "Land Rover Military Tow Jaw" you'll see what it looks like.

I have found a new one that also incorporates a ball.

Did a quick overnighter last weekend in to the Spring Mountains. I am still surprised how much quieter the pintle hitch than the combo hitch I ran for years. Definitely worth the investment.

From what I can tell, I think it would ship from the UK. I have found the UK PO to be excellent, and quick!
