Yes - lovely camp site, but not a secret. I was on my way to Boise to pick up my daughter, cruising up 95, been interested in Owyhee and poked up roads from Rome looking for a camp. Back on the highway in the morning.

My grandmother camping near Burdan's Gate in Eastbourne NZ, probably in the early 60's. All of 14 km from home, lol, but by the beach with nice walks. They would camp there for weeks for the summer vacay. Car was covered to try and keep it from rusting in the salty sea air - same with the wheel covers. Camping has a long history in the family.

First try with a rooftop tent. Found a good deal on a used Thule Tepui lo-pro. No complaints at all. Spent a night at Little Fort Campground in VA, next night was streamside on the Piney River near Salt Log Gap.
