Calling All Jeeps!

So, that Jeep KJ I put in a picture at the start of the thread is now mine. I haven't done anything cool to it yet, but we did take it out for explorations recently. A pic or two so I can officially join the Jeep Club of 'Murica. We have dubbed this one Firefly, and she's a stock KJ with a 3.7. Clearly, new shoes are in order. Shoring up the front end with bushings and stuff. Servicing the transfer cases. Transmission and oil flush/change. I have some lights to put on, and a cb and hand held ham to install. I also want to set up the cockpit a bit, get a roof rack and a deep cycle battery for additional electronic usage and lighting support. I may look at a small lift and winch.

I thought those Ruby's come equipped w 33s..?
I just bought a set for my Commander.

The stock BFG KM's it comes with are 32" tires and are 10" in width. I know I'm not adding much height, but I would really like more width. I'll be adding 2" of width with the DuraTrac's. I love Jeeps, especially Wranglers, but damn I hate how unstable they are on the road!! Haha!! Hopefully I'll get the stability I seek.

It's a bit of topic but I'm running 285/70r17 on mine, general grabber X3 and it changed the jeep from "well ok..." to awesome

That's actually the same size of the DuraTrac's I'm putting on, 285/70/17 (33"). The extra width is priceless!! I have many Jeep friends and it's such a noticeable handling difference when I'm in their Jeeps, especially on the road. Can't wait for this upgrade!!
