Familiar places, maybe the same tracks, but an unknown route. Not sure if there will be lots of new tracks, but hey, it can be fun.
Trying to find a campsite with cabins or so. Good test for the Trailer for the cold season.
And a good oppurtunity to have a small OLB meet up.

Extra news;
We found a campsite. A very special one. You can camp with your own tent/trailer or else, or you can stay in one of the rental camping devices they have.
So, if you like to join us that weekend. we will be there from the friday (17th) till the sunday (19th)

As you need to be a member, just tell you are coming, and I will take care of the reservation. Will book with my name.
We arrive in the afternoon on the friday and leave sunday morning which means we do a trip south back home then.
It wil be our first cold autum camping experience with our BCT.
And new routes and whatever we find to make fun during that weekend.
In the evening we will have some fun during cooking.
We will bring our outdoor cooking gear and will try to do some cooking workshops all together.
We do the Pruttelpot for a great soup, the new Dutch Oven for bread and more, and of course the BBQ and the Cobb for a good piece of meat and more.
As the campsite is run by people who like bushcraft, well I would say, if you like to join us, but not liking to drive all day, just come along an have some bushcraft fun.
The area is great for walking and sightseeing.
This is I think a great oppurtunity for a great meet up with all who like the great outdoor.
Come and join us there.
IF the group who likes to drive is more then 8 Rigs, we will split up the group.

Ok, at this moment we do have three OLB member who are interested.
Joachim from Norway will try to fly over and drive along with one of us.
[DO]Ron fom the Netherlands would like to join us on the sunday.
and Vanlife4x4 from Germany has interest in the meeting as well.

Next Update:
I spoke to the campsite and they are thrilled to see us that weekend.
So, they do have a hot tub, good fun when we like that one.
They do have a mobile Sauna. Again good fun.
They have four acommodations;
The basic hut. 4 people with heater 40€ per night
The Grashopper hut. which is already booked by Mathias
The Safari tent 6 persons. price is yet to define for us.
The Protipi tent 4 persons. price is yet to define for us.
And at this moment we have these people who are coming, one or two nights, or just for one day.
The weekend.
Robert, Frederique and Skai. Jeep KJ and the Base Camp Trailer
Stefan and ???? VW T5 4 Motion Campervan
Timm and ????? VW T5 4 Motion Campervan ( Overland Bound)
Joachim from Norway, comes by plane and will hop in by someone. (Overland Bound)
Saturday and sunday
Mathias and Stefanie Jeep Wrangler Limited (Overland Bound)
Sunday
Ron and ????? Toyota Landcruiser 200 (Overland Bound)
So, four cars for the full weekend, five for the sunday.
which means just 2 car places left, or we will split up in two groups while driving.

Ron and girlfriend, for the sunday Toyota Landcruiser 120. Overland Bound.
Timm for the weekend (made a mistake) it is a Toyota Landcruiser 100.
Interested is.

So, if Stefan and Vanlife4x4 are coming as well we have 5 rigs for the weekend and 6 for the sunday.

Today a new video came out from Ronny Dahl. And I must say, it did give me some ideas for the cooking during this event.
As we are be there for two nights, well, I guess we can try out more.

A little update about the weekend.
All is fine and still no one said he will not come, which is great. It means that even the interested people are still willingto come.
Mathias his wife cant come, so he brings a friend.
Ron made a little change. So here is the update on that.
Mathias and friend are coming sat/sun. Jeep Wrangler. Overland Bound.

Hello folks,
Well, almost there the weekend and even as the weather aint that perfect, I hope it will be a perfect weekend.
Good, for all persons who are coming we are at Camping de Klashorst, Rheezerweg 123, 7795 DB Diffelen.
Please, if you like to come, just give us on the wednessday a go or not. As we then can calculate how much food we need to buy.
On the friday we will do a meal with soup,bread and such. This will be done in the Pruttelpot. Think that makes it easy and fun.
At this moment we will be there with Mark, Anna, Peter and us on the Friday.
And Mathias, friend, Mark and Anna, Vanlife4x4, Ron, Timm, and us for the trips on saturday and Sunday.
So, we still are able to have some to join.

Please tell me before thursday if you are coming if you didnt booked already.

You mean adding photos and post event notes? I've seen folks add it to the Rally Point thread that is automatically created in "Events". Is that what you mean?

No, what I mean @Michael ,is that lots of events are regional. So, if they are just mentioned regional, it is a shame as others who maybe like to go, wont see them, but if you put them on rally point they are just been seen on the standard forum spot. Which is good. But for an example, when I write something on Rally point, I have to copy it also into the Europe section.
As not everyone will read it on the standard forum. (some people are very regional bound, unfortunally).
So, if I do a Rally Point, it pops up at Overland Bound Meet ups (where it belongs) but it would be nice as it would pop up also at the designated region.
Then you only need to maintain one spot throughout the whole forum.

That was a thought of mine.
