I installed the arb fridge wiring kit for my indel b fridge then noticed that the DC socket that comes with it is different than the 12v plug on the end of the indel B DC cord. Anyone have a solution for this or does anyone know if the ARB DC cord if I ordered it would fit into the indel b fridge?

Pictures? Mainly of the Indel B plug. The ARB socket should be standard. Their plug for the fridge does have a twist to lock end and should still fit. My ARB plugs into a Blue Sea socket. They should all work with each other.

My ARB wiring loom came with both ends... the standard DC "lighter" socket style and the one that is compatible with their fridges... are you sure you don't have that end kicking around somewhere still from when you got the package?

Too bad your fridge doesn't have that connector... it's great.
I would contact ARB and get the other connector. That little end unscrews and the "normal" type can replace it easily.

I'll dig around and see if I can find mine.....

Oh wait... that's for the male connector!..... you need the female one. Hmmmmm.

I wonder if you can open it up and detach that piece???

I was just wondering if you could open up that section and connect a normal female connector there... You may have the flush mount rather than this one below but the internals will be the same.

Update . I took a chance and ordered the arb fridge D.C. Cord and it works! It's a little longer at the plug into the fridge so does not plug in flush all the way but it seems tight enough and I have had no oroblems with it

I put Anderson's plug connections on every thing from the Engel to jumper cables. They are easy to use and do not lose connection.
