Well, I've rolled into Calgary area from a few months in lower mainland BC, and previous to that Edmonton. Who's got some good locations for winter camping within a couple hours of Calgary? I rolled into McLean creek the other day, but found out it's now closed for the winter (as of December 1st).

Anywhere along the trunk road (highway 40) south or north of the city. I was out by Waiparous last week.
