I have been on the road for 15 days today from Las Vegas to Alaska.
Taking it very easy and camping 100% of the time.
Currently around Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula for a few days.

A bit late joining this thread but.....

Make sure all the no see um entries are sealed tight !!!!
Have a tub with a debugger sponge, soap & water for the windshield.

One time after a Little League game I had as a kid in southeast Alaska, I came home and counted my mosquito bites, well over 100, I believe 130. All over my arms head and neck. Listen to this guy, bring bug spray!

Guess where Porsche winter tests their cars.... Edmonton to Yellowknife to Inuvik in January. It was so cool to meet a dozen Porsches on the highway when it could be -70F !!! Daytime high is often 40 below. Caymans, Boxters, 911s and a few Cayennes. The newest models cloaked in mesh.

The looonnggggg lonely highway can invite speed but at night, a bison is like a brick wall.

wrecked-camaro-and-dead-bison.jpg.jpg

That was a Camaro, the Bison is behind him.

A cop once told me
at 50mph a moose breaks the grill and lights.
at 60mph he lands on the hood.
at 70mph he breaks the windshield and
at 80mph he is a lap dog.

Don't overdrive the headlights.

yep, our first summer I was reading a real good book outside. I figured go to bed when you cannot read. Well it started to get brighter out. I looked, 3am and I started work at 6am. You will find your biological clock does not get tired... or not sleepy if it never gets dark. It is easy to go days without meaningful sleep. Insomnia is common.

This is a great comedy. Sorry murder movie.

I forgot who was in it, killer cast.
