How much ground clearence does your SX4 have? I feel my 05 Hyundai Tucson with only 7" of ground clearence from stock.

Just went through your build thread.
What made you change you mind to have the pod lights mounted on your roof rack? I noticed you posted that you remove your roof rack every winter.
I originally mounted them under the bumper but as you can see it didn't work out to well, as far as the rack goes I'm just going to leave it on.
The lowest point on my car is the catalytic converter. The ground clearance was 5.75" before the springs. The new ground clearance is 7 11/16"
this was this weekends project! I decided to paint the door sills so when I step on them to get something off my rack I won't slip.

ok that is something I need to look out for then is the centre lock standard on the 4wd
yes all of the AWD SX4 have the center lock
here's another quick diy project I decided to do over the long weekend.

My diy limb riser project is under way!
I still need to drill a couple of small holes to add some self tapping screws to help secure the wire hangers and then I will be moving on to the rack.

I did a little painting and got the guy-wire measured out just got to get the rack mounts welded.

Project update!I got the rack scraped,sanded and wire brushed. I also added a couple of tie down points and then I degreased and washed the rack to get ready to paint.
