    Anyone been to Daniel Boone National Forest?

    Hey guys, Planning a trip to Daniel Boone National Forest and wanted to see who has been out there? still relatively stock so nothing crazy but might just consider parking and hiking to the dispersed camp sites. any advice is appreciated.

    Headed to the Northwest

    Planning a trip in mid-August to the Pacific Northwest, Eugene Oregon for sure, may drive up the 101 from there. Looking for a few good places to camp, hike, anything a must see in the area? We'll have franken-daughter with us, so we can't go too primitive. (Teenagers!)

    I had the invite by friends to get out of the 100*+ weather of central FL, and into some baptising 72* spring water at Deleon springs state park. Roughly an hour away from my door step, packing fairly light for a day trip. Worst part of the day-There wasn't any jumping/diving area. I was hoping...
