    Haha I've been to the park a few times. Great park. Definitely want to explore more. I was stationed in 29 palms for 4 years and never had time to check anything out.

    Has anyone done Old Dale road from 29 palms to Joshua tree national park. Looking into running it in November. And wondering how trail was looking lately newest video I've seen so far is 2 years old.

    Oh yea for sure make it fun. Scavenger hunt is a great idea. He is into the coyote Peterson stuff on YouTube with insects and animals. So I'm working on teaching him about animal and insect etiquette. He shows interest but easily gets distracted.

    I just started using OnX app. And like it so far. Easy to use and I can save maps for offline use. I can track my ride. And set way points

    Relax, hike/explore the area around camp. Could use some ideas for how to entertain a 5 year old boy. Kid is super active so trying to sit him down to teach camp stuff is tough lol.

    Been in plenty of sketchy situations. But those were the ones I learned alot in and laugh at now. Even tho my rear was sealed tighter than Fort Knox haha keep at it!

    Hello OB community! Joseph here from Riverside, Ca. I drive a 2004 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4. I have mostly done weekend trips to local trails. Very new to the overlanding scene. Looking to get out more and possibly meeting y'all on the trail.
