    Fly Fishing in Western Washington

Greetings, I usually fly fish in lakes/streams near Rainer, but found out the location I usually go (ever since I was a kid with my Dad) that stream is actually protected/no-go; we only found out (because it's not listed in the book) from a ranger driving by. I'm looking for a new spot I can...

Best mobile air compressor unit for Overland travel?

I've previously had the Viair 450c onboard, while not portable the brand did not let me down (They even have new Expedition Line of kits). So much so, Ive got a 480c in a box in the garage that I've not installed yet. I'm actually trying to decide if I make it a portable with some custom...

    AGM Batteries (NorthStar Bought out?)

Thanks all, I went ahead and had them order the Odyssey for me, going to get the Northstar out and they will test it for a few days, he said generally the AGM's are harder to diagnose issues because they tend to "regenerate" the voltage, where as a flooded battery, when its dead its dead. But he...

    AGM Batteries (NorthStar Bought out?)

Currently have a Northstar AGM (NSB-AGM 94R/L4) ; and after like an hour with my ignition set to ACC, my truck gave me a low battery warning, and I almost didnt get to start. Took it back, their test of the battery was inconclusive without removing the battery fully, something I couldn't do...

    Thinking of selling my RTT

Right now I have a Tepui Autana XL Ruggedized with Annex, and it's been great, large, no problems at all and perfect for the fam. That being said, we had a chance to use a Gazelle T8 Hub tent since the family got larger, and that is actually right now our go-to for tents right now, and the RTT...

    Any Exped Megamat Max Owners?

Hrm maybe the extra isnt worth it... What about leaks? Anyone have any issues? While I understand mass production is prone to issues, It seems spending $$$ over a thermarest or something that will just fail as any air mattress does.. seems like a horrible move.

What's your latest camping gear purchase, and what caused you to buy it?

Had the 3000 lithium before it was wifi, asked GZ about it when it came out and they did an exchange for the newer model which actually came with the MPPT which my old one did not. No issues other than lugging the thing around, the newer Pelican Case I use is much easier than the older Hardigg...

    Gazelle Tent

T8 had an issue out of the package, working with Ardisam to figure out what to do about it. Looks very nice though, nice thick fabric etc. It may very well have me converted from my RTT. Obviously unpacking was a cinch, but I was also equally surprised putting it back in the bag wasn't nearly as...

What's your latest camping gear purchase, and what caused you to buy it?

Slumberjack Roadhouse - I really was eyeballing awnings hard, but kept going between wanting to go expensive for a batwing, and trying to keep it simple and cheaper. Was going to order some tarps when I saw this.. picked one up to try it out vs traditional tarps. Gazelle T8 - While I have a...

    GZ Yeti 3000 Build

Welp, I found this, trying see if there are alternates, this wired to the regulated GZ cable then to the ARB plug should be okay for the fridge (I hope). Now to see if there are right angle 8mm jacks or usb plugs. https://vetco.net/products/right-angle-cigarette-lighter-plug-w-8a-fuse

    GZ Yeti 3000 Build

So, I was going to reply to a member and thought, I should just put my own thread... **Disclaimer, I'm not an expert** The idea was, I have GZ 3000 Lithium Wifi, and I usually put it in an old Hardigg box... It was nice, held all my cables and lights, but it's pretty big.. like unweildy...
