Great meet up on Tuesday, aprox 10 members participated in a discussion about the differences between fuses and circuit breakers. Mike from M&J Automotive once again gave a detailed explanation with a good show and tell.

Two new members with a very nicely built Jeep JL came to their fist OB meet up, glad to see new members and we hope to see you at the next meet up.

FYI, the East Bay meetup is going to the Mendocino NF and has published a rally point incase anyone wants to go with them,

Last night we had a great meetup with 15 members in attendance, got to see some members that haven't been very active in some time plus had some newer members come back for more ;-).
Everyone participated in a really good tool bag conversation. Discussed the pros and cons of bags vs hard boxes plus we got to see some decent bargain tools that Chris H. brought.

Member reports;
  • Dave D. gave a great recap from his recent 27 day trip that ended up at Expo Mountain West in CO. Sounded like Mountain West was just about the same as PNW, Flagstaff is still king dog!
  • A member who is very active with the Hi-Landers 4x4 club gave a report on their hard work the club did to build two outhouses at Barrett Lake. “Stong work Hi-Landers”
  • Gabriel F. had his Grenadier at the meetup, this is the same rig we got to go over on the lift at M&J last year. Lots of has been done most notably some really great suspension from Metal Cloak. Gabe just added Metal Cloaks new RockSport Black shocks, Gabe said it was a 100% ride improvement.
  • Kent & Lucy talked about the upcoming Overland Bound Trail Guardian event in the Mojave Preserve October 23-27. There are still openings on the Overland Bound OB1 app.
