Jack I have had a serious look at slide out kitchens over the last few months and decided to build my own as it will fit my personal needs better. The two kitchens that you are talking about were on the top of my list and I was leaning towards the MW as it had more features.
Welcome to overland CK... I had a look at project boss on Facebook that's a sweet looking setup that you have going on there. I'd love to have a look in person next time I'm down on the sunny coast.
Just finished doing the wrap on my new outback overhead console. Still got a fair bit to do to it yet but it looks so much better then the OEM gray and it matches the bonnet, roof and mirrors.
This is a great idea, I should look into making something like this up for my rig. My staffy is getting too old to hop in and out of the back now and so kind off platform would help her out immensely.
Tell me about it mate I've just got back from a six week trip and spent the last four days removing all the old wiring system out of my truck. As most of it was a patch together job between me the previous owner and well lets just say it was starting to look more like a fire hazard than a engine...
Mate I love it...! It's all neat and tidy, simple yet effective and that light is a great touch. Great job and keep the projects coming I'm looking forward to your next build and show.
It's all good mate, Toyota has done Australia a solid with the Land Cruiser and the Hilux or the last 20+ years. Price of a 2015 SR5 Tundra with 100,000 km (62,000 miles) is currently $85,000 ($59,000 USD). But at the end of the day when all is said and done I don't think I would want anything...
Looking good so far mate, I'm a big fan of the Tacoma as a vehicle. We here in Australia are not as lucky as you in the sates and Toyota does not import Tacomas (envious). We do now however get the Tundra as a option but they are well out of my price range. The ARB front bar suits the truck well...
I run a BlackWolf Ryebuck swag, It's the perfect size for one person and it fits length ways in the Hilux tray. Given me room to storge equipment and still have the ability to move around on the tray as well.
That's great mate it's always good to bring new people into the 4wd life style. So many people in Australia have off road vehicles but never take them out to enjoy what a great country we live in.
