Selling a MOFI 4G LTE cellular router (model 4GXeLTE V3 M) which has been wired for 12v mobile use. This thing is great with the included antennas or wired up to external MIMO antennas. Backcountry Internet Gear/Providers

I ended up with a combination of starlink and a 4g router. I use the router when I have a good signal, because the power draw on it is negligible. Starlink is my backup. I've also had mostly positive experiences with starlink. Once in a while it gets spotty. Yesterday it dropped out on me...

    Backcountry Internet Gear/Providers

Hello everybody! I am gradually working on building out a mobile office for remote work while overlanding. I was almost set to pull the trigger on Starlink RV, when I read a couple of thoughtful reviews which pointed out that it is not the all-in-one solution I was hoping it was (if such a...

    Secure battery in truck bed

Great idea! Im also planning to get solar, and was just going to sort of toss the charge controller under the hood when I'm actually using the panels. This ^ is a much better idea lol.

    Secure battery in truck bed

Thanks for the info! I'm planning to add a battery box in the truck bed, so I should be ok with the weight. But good to know I need to make the mount a bit beefier.

    Secure battery in truck bed

I know this is an old thread but hoping OP is still around... What battery are you running under the hood? I have a lead acid main and aux battery, but would love to add a house battery like that for extended trips. But I'm nervous about adding a lipo or AGM battery on the same system.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Added a new Rigd Ultraswing Mega-Fit that I've been looking at for years. The rotopax 4 gallon really came in clutch for carrying extra fuel around various places during Hurricane Ian. Way better than having a Jerry can in the bed. I'm looking at mounting my axe and shovel on one side of the...

    Accessory mounting ideas...

Hey everyone, I recently ordered a Rigd spare tire carrier for my Silverado. I would like to bring my traction boards, axe, and shovel down off my roof rack and put them on the spare, since it can hold the weight and I'd like to put some other stuff up there while keeping the weight on the roof...

    Laundry gear question

I'll have to look into getting more moisture wicking clothing. I usually just take what I've got, which is pretty much all cotton, except for my socks. The Coleman's a good idea too. I can rig that up under a tent fly. I thought about one of those crank things. My friend has one, but he also...
