    Decision Help Requested

If this purchase is something that you planned in your budget and the FJ is paid off, then just keep it. You can turn it into a trail and/or winter rig. But your right about the selling price being high right now. (I'm in the car wholesale business) So maybe im not really helping.... LOL

No problem! I’ll call you when I get close to make sure where base camp is just in case. Hopefully I will find a radio to install and call into base camp that way.

US Southwest DFW - September-Weekend trails/camping - Broken Bow, OK

I plan on leaving after work on Friday to head straight there from Dallas. (Earlier if I can) I’m assuming that everyone meets up Friday at the Base Camp and trails start on Saturday? I will be bringing recovery gear and I have a winch now. I will also have all my tools in case of a breakdown...

I’m supposed to work that weekend but I’m going to find a way to get out of it. I’ve been looking for an organized trip to learn stuff first hand for too long to miss this! I’m in!

I have some fuel left over when I get to the other end, I just don't remember how much. Maybe a half a tank +/-. I just installed a ScanGauge II that I was given as part payment for some work I did and I'm just getting it figured out. I'm seeing that with all the bolt-on stuff (rack, lights...

I can carry a total of an extra 21 gallons with all of them. That will get me from Dallas, TX to Hot Springs, AR before I have to fill it all up again. Not the best MPG, but I was carrying 5 people, all the gear, 2 Plano Boxes on top and driving between 75 - 80 MPH the whole way. (Lots of...

    My teardrop project v1.0

Looking good! Very high quality build. The best way I can think of to "bend" square tubing without a bender is to notch at specific locations, bend the tube, then weld the notches back in. Grind smooth and prep and paint. This video can give you an idea of what I'm talking about:
