I was watching one of Tyler Thompsons videos and his dad broke his front diff giving a little too much right boot for too long on a hill climb. The terrain doesn't look too bad but like I said above, it doesn't take much. :)

They are great tires and much better in wet conditions than the KO2. A lot of people are having great luck with the Ridge Grappler too. People who have ran the Wildpeak in the past have said the RG is even better in the wet. If they weren't so bloody expensive I would try them. :)
Especially when sharp sticks litter the trail. LOL
These things have been through hell on rocks but a branch was what took it out. Still holding air after around 200 miles of trail and highway with a single plug. I have a KO2 for a spare and it looks alot smaller than the Wildpeak when mounted...
Thanks Jules!
I was going to head out on Foresthill Road and come out to 50 near Ice House Res then do Strawberry Pass Trail but I'm pretty wiped after yesterday. Next time I head up to Gold Lake area I'm doing Snake Lake Trail! Need a friend to tag along though....

This is with just the pods on before I covered the lens with yellow film. They are a spot/flood combo and...
This is what it looks like when you go wheeling solo and you're trying to work slow and safe but gravity keeps tugging you off your preferred line. It's not flashy for "The Gram" but it keeps me moving forward and from breaking parts. Sure, a heavy right boot could have made that section just...
I explored a new trail today. It took WAY longer than I anticipated! I just got home. :)
I basically followed part of the route that a group here on OB did last week. I guess I expected it to be a lot tamer than it was. I have MANY new pinstripes and a nice long "badge of honor" on my rear...
Seems like a lot of the other brands have issues with the aluminun shavings. After 3yrs and dozens of use I still find shavings in my Tepui. I've removed the mattress and blown out the tent twice and yet I still find them.
Those are big leaf maples. Their leaves change sometime in September/October usually depending on location. He referrenced the Tubbs fire in Sonoma so that puts his trip in early October.
