I’m curious why you’re thinking the platform needs to be flush with the top of the frig? Are you trying to expand the area the doggies have?
in my own Tahoe, I deleted the 60 portion of the 60/40 seat. Then put in a dog bed on the floor. My puppy is tall enough to sit on the bed/floor and...
Good topic! I’ve been thinking about this recently too. Especially being in the middle of nowhere with a very large dog. I found a doggie first aid kit at my local pet store. Lots of familiar items, but heavy on gauze and dressings instead of adhesive bandages...
Sweet score! Looks kitchen worthy to me.
I have an ex highway patrol interceptor for my overlanding vehicle. I had anticipated building drawers, but had a happy surprise with the included weapon locker.
I travel with a teardrop, so the kitchen is there.
I pulled the 60 portion of my 60/40 seat fir a trip to Wyoming last year. I never got around to putting it back in, then we had a small horse come to live with us. There’s a bed in the space now, so she can overland too. The seat is still in the corner of my home office.
I have a Bernese Mountain dog. She’s an 80 pound ball of love. I had taken part of my rear seat out for a trip and never put it back. After she came to live with us, I realized that space was perfect for a traveling bed for her. She loves the spot, and uses the footwell water tank for a pillow.
This is where the outreach I mentioned above comes in. Helps others understand what is happening, it’s who he is, and okay, let’s have fun.
with both boys we knew, many of the group members were curious about autism, and did what they could to help makes things go well for everyone.
Actually, later when my son was doing robotics, another of the boys was on a different part of the spectrum. Both times it was an opportunity for the parents, and kids themselves, to do outreach and help the rest of us understand at least a little piece of their lives. I found it enlightening.
