For HF mobile,I’ve used a Hustler whip setup with resonators for each band 10-80. I have the spring and quick disconnect as well. The mount currently use plugs into the hitch receiver. You can see a couple of the resonators just in front of the drawers...

Absolutely right. I grew up in a shop, but doing the work on thecopcar has given me a metric crap ton, copyright btw, of knowledge about my rig and what likely failure points may be.
For the benefit of those wondering, the 220 ham band has limited equipment available due to the attempted spectrum grab by UPS around 1990.
The 2m band is probably most useful, followed by 70cm.
My guess is the operation of each is very different at the backend level. Combining all would have too much software overhead, and probably slow the interface unacceptably.

Chevrolet didn’t do AFM just to rake buyers through the Wringer. They could have done a little bitty engine with a hair dryer, but we all love big honking V8s.
