What kind of teardrop do you have out of curiosity?

I’ve been wondering if there was a route through between the two. It seemed like it was probably there, but I’ve never heard anything about it. I’ve been up in the pinedale and green river lakes area a few times. I’m hoping to get back this coming summer.

I sometimes use a stubby one on the roof. On the fender a little taller is better. You need to get the signal over the roof. The stubby on the fender will be somewhat shielded by the roof pillars.

I did the engineering for the building that went on the old Crystal site.

The fender will make a fine ground plane. A decent uhf ham antenna will likely work. If you pay more than $40, it’s too much. I use this one mostly.

Yup. Big Bend NP, no dogs. Immediately next to it Big Bend Ranch SP, y'all come on in. Both have bears. Irritational policy by those in DC who have no experience in reality.

In many places, state parks have no irrational hang ups over dogs. Here in Texas, the only rule is they must be leashed.
