I’ve been wondering if there was a route through between the two. It seemed like it was probably there, but I’ve never heard anything about it.
I’ve been up in the pinedale and green river lakes area a few times. I’m hoping to get back this coming summer.

The stubby is set for uhf in this shot. The Tram is on dual band. I prefer the taller antenna for gain, but the stubby comes in to its own if I’m going into low garages.
I sometimes use a stubby one on the roof. On the fender a little taller is better. You need to get the signal over the roof. The stubby on the fender will be somewhat shielded by the roof pillars.
