Nox Lux Blackout Kit for 5th Gen TRD Off Road

Yep, I got mine in early 2016, and actually had them before my 4Runner was even on the boat US bound! There was no such vehicle as a TRD Off-Road when I got the set for my 4Runner Trail. And, I bought it through your eBay outlet, which was less expensive than through the store. I'm a pleased...

    Can't reply to posts

Jonathon, First of all, welcome to Overland Bound! I have reviewed your account settings, and there is nothing that would set off a flag. The first five posts of a new member are scrutinized by the server for spam content, as well as external links (web sites, photos, etc.) and sent to the...

    OB Members Map!

Jim, I just checked your account. You did not have the checkbox checked in your preferences to show yourself on the map. I just toggled that on for you. You also had BHC Arizona listed as your location, which them map could not resolve. I changed that to Bullhead City, Arizona. Your pin should...

    Shady people

My opinion/position has nothing to do with limiting firearms discussion. We long ago determined that some topics are decisive and can lead to endless arguing. Most forums completely disallow any discussion of politics, religion, or firearms whatsoever. We have these two threads to help members...

Nox Lux Blackout Kit for 5th Gen TRD Off Road

I got mine two years ago for half that price. I didn’t know they were that expensive now. Mine fit perfect, had smoothly trimmed edges, and went on easy. I was very pleased with them, and they still look like new despite two harsh, salty Ohio winters. Sent from my iPhone using OB Talk

    Baja Design Fog Light Replacement

That’s probably what I should have done. I did the exact same upgrade, but the Squadron-R Pro lamps. At more than double the output, they are way too bright for anything but off road use.

Let’s not start another firearms thread. We already have two extensive discussions on the various related topics. Thanks https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/legal-weapons-and-overlanding.448 https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/camping-with-firearms.1427

Road Shower 2 Five-Gallon Pressurized Solar Shower Review

I don't know. I drained it once it got cold. "Warm" is relative, too. If the water is 34° and it warms up to 40° in the sun, it's still damn cold!

What maps and GPS for the Trans America Trail?

Sorry for the confusion. In your first post, you'd asked about hardware, and where to get/download the maps, hence, my link. Lots of us use a tablet and GAIA, some other hardware and map application. As @v_man noted, there are a lot of discussions as to what hardware/software folks use that you...

    North America Hema App

@Kyle & Kari Frink 1Louder is our resident GPS guru, and gave good solid advice. Reading any of the posts prior to yours indicates exactly what was said; HEMA is dead in the USA, and reviews on lots of sites give it a thumbs down.

how much $ does it take to drive ???? far

Some folks drive small AWD vehicles, some diesel, and some huge heavy trucks. MPG can't really be compared. I don't have any idea what your charts above indicate. Lots of existing threads on what MPG folks here are getting.

    Louvers for air-flow

Simply adding louvers doesn't always work as planned. I'd imagine the factory designs have had airflow studies done. I have another (older) vehicle that has vents in the top rear of the fenders, with scoops underneath to siphon the air out of the engine compartment. However, recent studies have...
