Assembled and test fitted the roof rack. Clearly going to be some fenagling involved in getting this thing attached. Those roof troughs are definitely not straight or perfectly parallel. Kids sock scratch guards ftw lol

The one I used is made by Smittybilt and is quite affordable. I just made the brackets to attach it from 1x1 aluminum tubing. I was planning to use 2x1, but I had some 1x1 already, so I used that to save money.

Finally got it done. Lots of fussing and difficulty but got it sorted in the end. I'll have to work on how I'm going to rig the license plate light.

This might be the sickest Xterra ever. The rear tire carrier is freakin gold. Xterra's should have come with rear mounted spares from the factory. Love it!
