It's already gone up some pretty crazy trails. I've done several obstacles and hills where I was thinking "I don't think I'm going to make that..." And the V comes through every time so far lol
Awww yeah, way to represent the #CRVnation, brother! :D
I love my RD1 CR-V. Here's my build thread, in case you're interested:

There are for sure pros and cons to both setups. If you're going to use a ground tent, I definitely recommend a very good sleeping pad, perhaps an air mattress, as you can easily inflate one with your tire air compressor and it will massively improve your comfort. Also a good ground sheet under...
Got the Jerry holder mounted. Made the custom brackets out of 1x1 aluminum square tube. My original design called for 2x1, but I happened to have some 1x1 that I bought by mistake and couldn't return, so I used that.
A while ago I also relocated my ECU to prevent it flooding if I someday get...
Time for a cummins diesel crate engine swap!
In all seriousness, I feel for you, brother, that sucks to have such an awesome machine grounded by mechanical gremlins :(
Assembled and test fitted the roof rack. Clearly going to be some fenagling involved in getting this thing attached. Those roof troughs are definitely not straight or perfectly parallel. Kids sock scratch guards ftw lol
The one I used is made by Smittybilt and is quite affordable. I just made the brackets to attach it from 1x1 aluminum tubing. I was planning to use 2x1, but I had some 1x1 already, so I used that to save money.
This might be the sickest Xterra ever. The rear tire carrier is freakin gold. Xterra's should have come with rear mounted spares from the factory. Love it!
If I lived in California, I'd already have gone, but as I live probably 40 hours away in another country, it makes the trip pretty much impossible. Pretty sure they won't fit in my V either.
Also, reading a couple of your responses directed at me makes me think you haven't actually read the...
@A-Aron After this long discussion thread, it would be very encouraging to see you step up and resolve the issue once and for all. Having you recover the axle and fenders would certainly silence your critics decisively, and would reflect well on you and on Overland Bound as an organization. I...
You're not kidding about the weight reduction; that thing is heavy! Unfortunately I have to have a muffler in this province, but I'm going to try to find a slimmer, louder one, because I love hearing that B20z purr lol
Washed my rig...
But then decided to take a little rip through the back country with 3 of the kids...
And got an impromptu trail induced muffler delete ^.^
