    NEBDR in a 4WD

Fours days of running north, then I did a westerly working dirt! Washington NH is a great area as is the surrounding areas. Get's very rural out there and some of the 'main' dirt roads would be beyond the faux SUV's on the market. Heck, some the tarred roads would be..LOL. There's quite a bit...

    NEBDR in a 4WD

You're welcome! No really for size! It folds down and not bigger that a pickup with a cap! No wider either! Weight wise, base camper (unloaded) is 70lbs heavier than the bed I removed.. I really like how it worked out!

    NEBDR in a 4WD

I like the less traveled WMNF campgrounds. All of my runs north end there the first day. Actually Day in another as well. Day 3 is a State Campground I really like (or stealth in the woods) as well as Day 4 (which typically is in the woods). With that said: Osceola Vista WMNF outside Waterville...

    NEBDR in a 4WD

There are sections that are tar, dirt, double track and single track. So depending on section, depending on vehicle. I run what's on my profile picture. F150 with about a 1.5" lift by tires, springs and shocks. So not much over stock. I few sections I pushed through my wife drove as I spotted...

    Calling all NH people.

Good news abut NH State Park camping! Those rustic campgrounds they closed down last year, will be open this year! This makes my run from Berlin to Errol (by dirt) good to stay at Mollidgewock! And the Errol to Pittsburg (by dirt mostly) good for a stay at Deer Mtn! I am so happy to hear...

    NEBDR in a 4WD

I run portions of the trails in NH. Trails/roads that are restricted are typically posted. As you reach the entry point of a route, it becomes pretty obvious if you could/should run it. I've turned around at several entries and even backed out of one that narrowed pretty fast. With that said...

Open either day. If I had to choose, Sunday would be better.

    Maritime Canada Expedition

I'm still awaiting word that the Maritimes are opened up to travel.. For that matter, when I can enter Canada again to explore.. My feeling is it won't be this year either..

I should update this.. Beebe Road requires permission to travel across. I didn't call to check procedure. I entered from Sandwich Notch and was hoping for a drive through.. gated!

US East New Hampshire Class VI Roads and Trails

In the PM only. There is no reason to pollute any conversation beyond... Reason I requested response in PM. Which I see I also have a PM from you. I wish you had done that alone as requested. We will talk there.

You do not have my permission to log, repost or place any .gpx files that I link to into another section of this group. I've had this conversation with both regional and national. I explained how I would do so and yet to see or hear that it has been put into place as of yet. I was told it will...

US East New Hampshire Class VI Roads and Trails

A friend's photo of an area we hiked into many years back.. He entered it into a contest and took second place for it. Several views much like it around to enjoy. One I would suggest that is a 4wd run (dirt to rocky) is Diamond Ridge in Pittsburg, NH. Check out the foliage runs (playlist) on my...

US East New Hampshire Class VI Roads and Trails

I've placed a few links to .gpx files here: Byways no Highways discussion page I decided to not post the entire State file. What I am doing is releasing portions/areas to those that are willing to explore an area and report back. My files are very extensive now and could be of value to someone...

Question about Tiitf lands (state or local owned) in Florida

I found two possible spots to overnight on the Keys. Both have been used to do so successfully and kinda unknown to the general public. One being pretty well secluded and the other fairly exposed. One being state owned (the TiiTF) and the other County. I've yet to confirm if there ia a...

Question about Tiitf lands (state or local owned) in Florida

Best I can tell so far is it's state owned, being it's an old route.

Traveling westward from NH this winter.

Plan #1 works just Florida and out to The Keys. Staying mostly on National or State Lands. Plan #2 is head for Florida and hang a right (west) and travel the Gulf Coast to San Padre Island. Plan #3 is plan #2 extended into Arizona. I expect to see snow/cold weather till basically the Gulf...

Traveling westward from NH this winter.

Didn't know of it and just took a quick peek. I will dig in a bit and see how I could include it! What's it like in Jan/Feb??

Traveling westward from NH this winter.

I so dislike running the Interstate, yet for some portion I feel I will need to to get into the southern tier of the US. Then it's off the Interstate and run byways westward. I don't know how the roads would be running through Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana National Forest in Jan/Feb. Second...

Been posting up the Videos of Foliage Season

I've made a playlist of the runs we did and have the .GPX files available. New Hampshire is quite a wonderful state once you get off the Highway and run the Byways! Playlist of the Foliage Runs!
