I not-so-secretly do. He posted that they added TrueTracs front and rear, while not a full locker I'd be surprised if they now plan to remove them and add a selectable locker or something of the sort.

Interesting. As it turns out almost everywhere I "Overland" signal is poor/non-existent so I tend to have my phone off or in airplane mode anyway. However, sometimes I bring a small Bluetooth speaker and play music I previously downloaded, so I'd leave a BT signature. That said, Class 1...
What about keeping the Ridgeline, or trading it in on an even more daily driving friendly vehicle (like an Accord, if you want to stay with Honda) and getting a dedicated Overland rig? There are obvious downsides (two vehicles to keep insured, registered, maintained, in fresh tires/brakes/etc.)...
I dig the Ranger looks, and HoosierT's is pretty damn nice! I wouldn't give too much salt to what Edmunds has to say about it either. I think it's a good, capable platform that has some serious advantages over the aging Tacoma (like the motor and 10 speed). It has drawbacks too, which are...
It looks like you already got some great advice, and the short answer is "yes."

I really enjoy your thread, and these insights - thanks for keeping the posts going! Some of my thoughts...
I know you're thinking about just the 3" IRO springs with a 1/2" spacer and their long arms, skids etc... but why not just go with the full 4" Rock Link kit (front Long Arm, rear stock...
This one will do right around 20 MPG if I hold it to 70-75 (hand calculated, I haven't corrected the speedo for the 35"s). It starts to drop off quickly after 75 MPH. With the 60 gallon fuel tank my unloaded range is around 1,200 freeway miles:
This one I need to hand-calculate a freeway...
This is one of the RZRs I've had:
It obviously was a 4-seat, but I deleted the rear seat and added storage as well as fuel and water. It ran a 33x10.5" tire and would go just about anywhere. We geared-down the final drive in the trans about 10% which made the gearing about like stock...
