"The vented cans are 10 ounces or bigger, and ConAgra said they are often used in commercial food service operations and not found in most consumer households"
Between this and a little common sense I think most of us will be okay.

Longer end-links to return the swaybar to the right angle at ride-height after lifting, correct? Longer end-links (of matched length) won't change how a sway bar performs, they just return the arms to the proper clocking after lifting.

So many cool Silverados. I've used my '11 2500 Duramax as an "Overlander" from time to time. I love the range with a ~60 gallon aftermarket tank (stock tank replacement, not in-bed... though I also have a 65 gallon in-bed toolbox/tank combo but I use that for fuel for the toys on our...
I always love a good WJ build! Congrats on the score. Some thoughts...
IMHO the best off-the-shelf sliders for WJs are Kevin's: Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ Rock Sliders w/ FREE SHIPPING (Lower 48) | KevinsOffroad.com / Overland-Ready.com I heard somewhere he's looking at retiring, so I'd jump on...
Yup, totally. Even w/ the 4" long-arm on the grey WJ and ~32"s it rides exceptionally well and is very quiet onroad. I just wish it fit 35"s as easy as a JK/JL.

I start thinking the same thing when I catch myself dreaming about Gladiators. You basically have to do 37-38"s to get decent break-over and departure angles out of them (which means a 2.5-3.5" lift) and they end up Yuge with a very long wheelbase. Lately I've even found myself thinking a...
Was there a point to this quote? I daily drove my '11 Silverado 2500 HD from brand new (bought in late Oct '10) until just last year (and only got a new DD because I now live 150 miles from the office and didn't want to run up the miles on the tow pig, not because it's not comfy). I've done...
If you're buying a full size truck to Overland just get a Power Wagon. I'm a Chevy guy and I have a Silverado (2011 2500 Duramax/Allison with a ~4" lift and 35"s) that I've Overlanded -some- but it was never bought/meant to be an Overlander. It's my tow pig. Hands-down if I was buying a new...
Welcome! I lived in Santa Clara for years (now technically live in Lincoln, but work in Palo Alto and spend Mon-Thurs down here). There is a TON to explore within just a few hours for Santa Clara.

I have a G80 in my D'max and it's spent a lot of time towing trailers (and broken sand rails) in deep, soft sand. It works really, really well in those situations. It's also worked really well for light trail use with *mild* rocks. I suspect in more rocky or uneven terrain where one tire...
I think that will *look* amazing. My WJ is a dark grey (I think it's called "Graphite Metallic Clearcoat") and I've thought about some bronze on it in the next stage, perhaps just beadlock rings if/when I go to a beadlock. That said, be aware it's a tough color to keep nice if you go offroad...
