I would get a Smart battery tender that can double as a Solar charger as well. Besides an inverter, I would look into a converter... some converters can take care of shore power charging, solar charging, and would bypass the inverter while on shore power.

I got lucky with mine... 20 bucks and it was listed as for parts... it just needed the carb tweaked and she purrs like a raped ape... put an Oregon Bar and chain on her and she now cuts through oak like a hot knife through butter.
