It’s a route that goes from northern mass to northern Vermont. I don’t know what type of terrain it is. I’m assuming it’s a lot of dirt roads and maybe some trails as you get north

Anyone know how long the puppy down route takes? I’m traveling from southern New York to the nh Canada border. It would be nice to take this route on my way there

For those near central jersey, I spent last weekend in Wharton state forest. Some call it the pine barrens. Iv been there before but it’s always nice to get there and just drive through the trails.

It’s flexible Say if a shovel handle was one inch in diameter. You could get a one inch mini. You open the clamp slightly to get the tool in and tighten the screw or wing nut. Thinking about it, it may get weak or misshapen over time with opening and closing

Little overnight stay in Wharton state forest in central jersey.
Great place to just explore and drive through the dirt/sand roads. And fairly quiet secluded campgrounds

Iv never tried it but in the electrical field, we have things called “minis”. They are designed to attach a conduit to a wall or something. They usually come with a screw and nut but I’m sure if you replace the nut with a wingnut, it could be used to hold a shovel or something.

I store mine behind the rear seats. The new body style Cherokee has sliding rear seats that leaves a perfect long storage space long enough for a hilift, shovel and an old ammo box with a compressor in it. It’s bolted to the floor to prevent me from taking a hi lift to the back of the head...
Iv done that before but with my local pd. It was technically a town park that has hiking trails. Over the year they got widened by vehicles. But they do get used occasionally by the local pd for searches and whatnot. I called them up and asked if I could drive down it to clean up some garbage...
I think you would greatly benefit from joining the “Jeepcherokeeclub” forum. There is a ton of information on there.
I can give you some ideas after owning a Cherokee trail hawk for a little under a year. I think your best bet would be some all terrain tires. They make a massive...
Let me know when you guys go! I’m In northern rockland county!
I was actually up in Indian lake and lake George a couple weeks ago for work. It’s so much different than southern New York. It’s a totally different feel
Can you take a picture of how you met up the two? Did you use the classic, cut the hitch part off of the Curt carrier and drilled some holes so it lines up with the swing out portion?
