I was fishing last October in Pulaski New York. The salmon river. I never realized how crazy strong a current can be until then. Even knee high water has the potential to take you out, especially if there’s an unexpected hole.
But thanks for the input!!
Most trucks come from the factory with a bit of a rake. The front is lower than the rear. This is assuming that when the truck is being used as a truck either hauling or towing, the truck would sit level. That is where you’ll get your best handeling and best performance.
I would say take a...
My first off-road expierence was when I didn’t even have a drivers license. I had a learners permit and wanted to bring my mother on some trails. I ended up having a blast and my mother ended up crying in fear. Good times. Good times

How do you guys go about deciding if your going to drive through it in the first place?
Are you the type to do the blind man with a big stick to see the depth and bottom solidness?
Are you the type to go really slow and feel the bottom through the vehicle? So you just go for it and hope...
On my 2014 Cherokee, the factory recovery points are rated at 4500 pounds. The trailer hitch is rated to tow 4500 pounds but that’s largely understated for safety reasons and the jeeps suspension. But I feel a little more confident in an entire hitch holding together better than a recovery...
I actually enjoy the industrial look. Stainless steel, aluminum and titanium make me happy ha. But I will probably trade up to something like this. I’m rarely riding by myself anymore and could really use the extra space for kore bikes

One up rack USA.
Crazy expensive especially to carry just one bike(they have extensions for up to 4 bikes). But it’s very high quality and super easy to install and put bikes on

I think it all depends on the kid. I started with my very first vehicle. A Jeep Liberty. I was apparently a little too young at the age of 16 because I absolutely destroyed that poor Jeep. But I was immature. Didn’t have anyone to look to for off-road advice, never did it before. Just me...
Thank you. It’s just an idea. Iv never used them for mounting tools but I’d imagine they work well. And they certainly are cheap. And come in all sizes

I have wrangler duratracs. They are technically all terrain tires. But they are very close to mud tires. They do make noise. But it’s a subtle hum. I drive with the, everyday and it hasn’t bothered me since. The wear so far has been good. They look pretty aggressive. My only gripe...
Tire size has a lot to do with it. I have a viair 88p. 20amp connects to the battery with alligator clips. They say it’s good up to a 33” tire. My tires are about 30.5 inches and it works pretty well. Fills them up to street pressure pretty quickly. I store mine with a tire pressure...

It’s a route that goes from northern mass to northern Vermont. I don’t know what type of terrain it is. I’m assuming it’s a lot of dirt roads and maybe some trails as you get north
