Eh... I was in a rush and just plasti dipped it... that being said.. it has held up for almost 4 years now.... If I had the time I would have sanded it down, primer'd and painted it.
How much are you looking to spend? I started with the T1 Rebal years ago. bought some nice lenses for it but hit its limitations of not being a full frame camera a couple of years in... If I could start all over I would go with a Sony Mirrorless camera.
I used one of the truck tents a few times when I had my superduty. It does ok but I would not recommend it anywhere super windy or in cold/ very hot environments. If getting into your garage is your main concern you can just get a rack that is lower... The frontrunner bed rack system sits low...
Been a while since I posted.... Im about to hit 100k on the rig in the next couple of days. It has become my daily driver for the last 4 months so the miles have tacked on pretty quickly since I drive at least 100 miles a day.
Tent is off the rig for now but looking to make a change and go...
one of the many reasons I always carry... Im lucky enough to have a CCW here in CA.. that being said I always have a pistol and a rifle with me when I camp. better to be prepared then sorry
I have 2 small ones left... my youngest daughter is 3 and my youngest son is 6. I also have a 12 and 18 year old.. all of them have started camping with us at around 3 years old or younger. I also prefer secluded sites but my wife on the other hand prefers actual camp sites with flushing...
I have the ARB 50l and it has been great the last 4 years... that being said... If I didn't have one right now I would go with a dometic with the dual zones....

this isn't the first shooting... Someone I follow was shot at last year while he was sleeping in this camp. If I am correct there have been like 5 other incidents with random shootings at this park but this is the first fatality.
I don't think there is a way to prepare for this. I have my...
I agree with steve.. also your particular location also plays a factor. Diff areas have diff type of trails that require diff items... If it were me the top two would be a good set of tires and first aid kit. but also don't forget to take a class to learn how to use the first aid kit. A min...
Im running OEM raptor rims so they don't stick out crazy... when I had my aftermarket wheels I was only able to do 33's. also as you can see I have a aftermarket bumper... If I didn't I would end up having to trim the bumper a bit
I don't have skids plates on mine and I have been on some decent trails.
I would do leveling kit and tires. It's amazing what a good set of all terrain tires will do.
