Can we expand this to YouTube? I bet there is a lot of great information out there from members here and I am sure everyone would appreciate the subscribers!
I started mine during lockdown called Dickin' Around Outdoors https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4unsrDMyke7aXk6FgYyn1Q Not really...
I think the Fireside Outdoors Pop-Up Pits (small and large sizes available) fit the dollar target and are compact and easy to carry. If I recall correctly Overland Journal thought well of the Primus Kamoto pit as well.

When I am on the motorcycle I often use instant to save the space. I used a stainless steal percolator for years and these days I often use the Stanley All -In-One Coffee System. If you want to check it out I posted a video featuring it on my YouTube page-
Ya pretty wide open question. Have you camped before? Do you currently have gear and are looking to add or are you starting from total scratch. Huge difference in the answer. And you have a Jeep so weight should be considered.
I have both although my Colemans are white gas. I really don't see this as an either or nor do I see them as interchangeable. I see the scottle as a large wok or fry pan which, as noted above, is good for a crowd but if I am doing anything liquid or using my pressure cooker it is not the right...
If anyone is interested I just posted my review and commentary on the Solo Stove Bonfire, The Snow Peak Pack & Carry and the Fireside Outdoors Pop-Up Pit on my You Tube channel. It is my second video so be gentle if you watch-comments much appreciated. And if I am violating any forum policy I...
I have seen some mention of the Sea to Summit Delta sets here. Sierra Trading has them on clearance if anyone interested.

I use enameled steel (from Europe as I consider them better quality) but if I were buying new I would look for the Melmac/Melamine divided plates-they are durable.
Well, given the massive increase in the number of people who are taking up camping (been steadily growing since the financial crisis - See boom in Overlanding content and products!) it is no surprise. Long gone are the days of deciding on Friday afternoon to go camping at most state or national...
I have a number of Solo stoves (started out for camping then bought a Bonfire) and just picked up the Ranger for use on my porch and other smaller spaces. I really like the Solo stuff as it burns very well leaving minimal ash and the fire pattern is a bit hypnotic given the regasification...
This is such a great topic as it points out the angst of the “older generation” and the fact that our passion has caught on. I am in my 50s and have been camping since I was a kid in Scouts-always loved it. Since the Great Recession camping as a hobby/ vacation choice has exploded, with 2019...
I got one of these for Christmas after reading the ExPo review. We have a JKU and a Ford Raptor. Normally taking the Raptor camping but the JKU is starting to join the fun so I have been trying to find light-weighting solutions. Anyway and back to the point I finally used it yesterday for some...
I am a huge fan of the Bob Dustrude Bucksaw for lighter (and not so light) cutting at camp. The saw has replaceable blades you can pick up anywhere, is extremely light weight, made in USA for those that care, and comes in different lengths to fit your need...
On a bit of a turn I have been looking for something to carry my Coleman 414 Powerhouse for quite a while-hard to believe that no one makes a bag for these stoves as their following is rabid. Anyway realized the other day that my CampChef Pro 30 bag fits it very well. I picked up on Amazon for...
I picked up the Kindling Cracker a couple years ago for use around the home fire pit. The thing works like a champ on most bundles you buy but I did not have much success using it on some oak that I came across. Otherwise the thing makes short work out of your wood and increases the safety...
I run a 3.5 inch AEV on my JKU and love it (35 inch tires and manual tran). So I would look there. I am seriously considering Icon for my Raptor and hear really good things as well.
Think hard on how you use it and look for kits that fit that need. Some are for rock crawling, some for high...
I second the REI roll top table. Stable as heck and pretty compact. For a JKU fits the bill nicely. I also have the Alpine Mountain Gear roll top kitchen table which is pretty handy but don’t think as solid as the REI.
