Meet up ideas?
In the month of March, 3/24 is the only Saturday I’ll be in town. However, I should not be the limiting factor. Anyone who is willing can organize the date and location for this one.
My concern with that date is Spring Break. I don’t even know if anyone will have kids out that...
Looks like it will be cold but dry so this event is on. My friend Michael Hyden from All Over Overland is joining us too. Today is his birthday so please wish him a Happy Birthday when you meet.
You are on the right track in thinking sliders first. IMHO they are the best bang for the buck in vehicle protection. Skids are a good idea too but definitely sliders.
That’s a big truck, awesome but big. I had a 2008 and loved it. You may already have issues being wide on a trail. If you add...

I know some of you have a ways to drive and who knows what the weather will be like. My name and number are on the rally point page. Feel free to call or text me anytime. If it looks like the roads are going to be icy, I will post an event cancellation here and there. If anyone has concerns...
I will give them a call. Rudy's is cafeteria style. You walk through a line and order your food. You pay at the end of the line and they hand your food to you on a tray. The dining room is a bunch of long picnic style tables and it's big. I've never seen the place crowded.
I will be out of...
I don't think anyone is bothered or offended by your post. It's still there and no one is complaining about it. I just commented on your butthurt. You've made it clear that you don't like this site or the capitalist owners of the site. It appears your only reason for coming back is to remind us...
I agree with this post. I have powder coated sliders and I have beat the crap out of them and they still look good. The line-x coating on my bumpers will actual tear when I’m sliding them off of a rock. I use the rustoleum bed liner to touch up both but the powder coat looks cleaner after touch up.
Do you have any personal experience with these? They look interesting and I really like the way they show pictures of the tents with sleeping pads inside. The weight is good too.
I had mine professionally done. I would not do the roll on DIY stuff. If you do, be prepared to redo it often. I have yet to see any of those products that hold up for very long.
They guys who did mine, stripped everything down, sanded down through clear coat, cleaned with acetone, sanded some...
I'm leaning towards a 3 person tent. Right now the Sierra Designs Sweet Suite 3 is the front runner. It has 2 doors with a small vestibule outside each door and weighs in at 4lbs 4oz packed weight. For the money, it seems like the best value.
