Went out to Los Padres NF / La Panza. Went up Powerline trail to go after a geocache. With the new front Lokka ADL, I engaged the rear locker a whole once on this trail to get through a torn up wet section of sand wash.
After that we went south through the Las Chiches bypass. With lockers...
APRS and satt comm both accomplish tracking but to different levels of detail, dependent on equipment with both. APRS is only serviceable where there is amateur radio repeater coverage, for your equipment, for your country of origins specs. Satt comm..........well, clear sky. Not to knock...
I can't speak for everyone, but comm gear is a common item in my rig, so I wouldn't put it on the recovery gear list. Recovery gear is something that goes in my rig when I am going out to off road. When I go get groceries, no recovery gear, but comm gear is still there.
Yea, finished assembling a front axle locker and reinstalled the IFS front axle........by myself. And this axle doesn't go in without the stars being completely in line.
Got the exhaust welded up. Got a tailpipe, leading from the muffler, cut and routed. Now working on exhaust hangars for the exhaust system, utilizing the original stock snubbers.
