The problem with writing a book is that it would be out of date after the next round of votes in the legislature. Following rules in Kali is a game of hit the moving target, while blindfolded.
As to what all needs a Prop 65 warning label, just give them time and they will require a tatoo on...
That is a problem NAXJA has been trying to fix for several years now.
You need to have the photo hosted somewhere else. It may be possible to link to the photos you have now posted here. See if you can copy the location from here and paste it there.
Way cool.
Bummed I didn't get to go, but OTOH, I got pictures of Varmint #1 picking up 3 medals at the Academic Decathlon. Those opportunities are harder to come by.
But we are going to make at least one of those trips you have planned for later in the year.
It is good just to make it into double digits.
My 455 '72 Olds and 454 '73 Burb both got 8mpg.
And that is better than the 6mpg that my 396 '68 Camaro gets.
So yes, I am happy once I get into double digits.
That's not irony.
That's Murphy.
Get a second starter and carry it in the vehicle and you will never again need to replace it. Of course your fuel pump or ECM will go out instead.
Murphy's a scoundrel.
I have an '02 8.1L 3/4 ton 4x4.
The Bride gets about 10mpg using it as a daily driver.
When we travel with it we typically get about 12mpg on the freeway. Our best ever was 13mpg.
The other thing you have to consider is what does it take to turn that vehicle into a salvage title? IOW, how much damage does it take.
Not much on an XJ.
I own two that are salvage titles. As far as I can tell what made them salvage was minor sheet metal damage to a rear quarter panel. It...
"Capable" very much depends on what you intend to do in the first place. And that is going to differ from one person to another.
Something that matters a lot to me is the ability to modify the vehicle to suit my needs as my needs change. For me, the more integrated systems a manufacturer...
One important difference with the Sport package is the headlights. They are superior to the non-Sport headlights. If you try to convert to them I believe you will also find the radiator support is different.
I do believe I have seen Cummins/Sport trucks.
Skinny vs wide is an interesting debate.
I had a friend who was a hardcore proponent of the skinny tires. Sadly, he is no longer with us. Slid off a wet mountain road and died in a ravine.
I don't think there is any question at all about which to choose if dealing with sand.
But...
I think our youngest was 18mos when we finally decided it was time to take the lot of them camping. Keeping Momma happy (in this case, not worried) is the hardest part. The little one will take it all in stride. For all they know you should have been taking them camping from day one.
While...
Well said.
While I don't carry a spare alternator or starter, I do have a spare set of brushes for the starter and know that replacing those is a pretty simple task I could perform on the trail if need be. And I carry a handful of sensors (CPS being the most important), distributor cap/rotor...
