On that "Toxic Masculinity" theme, I am looking for the T-shirt that points out manspreading as the original social distancing.
We were onto something all along.
My dd is a '96 XJ that is less than 2K miles shy of 200K.
My tow rig is a '95 Cummins with something on the order of 325K.
I would not be surprised to see those vehicles go over double what they are already at. Both the Jeep 4.0L and Cummins 12V are known for their durability and longevity.
This looks like a great place to share one of my favorite stories...
I also have a large GSD. I trained him with a local GSD owners group. One of the gals had an especially large GSD (120lbs) and she lived in a less than desirable part of town. She got fed up with watching other people allow...
I have one and I do use it while sleeping.
I also use a battery operated CO detector and I made a base for the heater so it won't be so likely to get knocked over in the tent. It would appear I am still here to talk about it.
The tent with which I have used it is a Coleman Montana 8. Nothing...
My father was my car painter, but he is gone now. It is a skill I am going to have to learn.
And no, he didn't teach me to paint. He taught me to prep, but the painting was something only he did himself.
He was old school. DeVilbiss high pressure, low volume gun. I don't think he would...

Congrats on finding the better life.
Add one more vote for a mobile unit over a handheld.
I have a Yaesu handheld, but I hardly ever use it. The Kenwood mobile in my rig is far preferable.
As to what to get, one thing to consider is what others you are likely to travel with are also using. The advantage to be had there is...
I really like my Coleman lanterns. I have a bunch of them. They are easy to fix and the sound and smell brings back memories. I have no intentions of getting rid of them. But I do take LED lanterns when I go camping anymore.
The LEDs are so much more compact, so much lighter, so much less...
Some of us are trying to get some fresh air, dealing with the fumes from the cracked exhaust.
(Probably goes a long way to explaining that Jeep thing that no one else understands.)
That is what callouses are for.
Seriously.
I have gloves. Quite a number of pair for different tasks. And I am pretty picky about some of those glove/task combinations. And I don't like gloves with a swinging tool (axe, maul, sledge, singlejack, hammer...). Gloves interfere with a good...
Figgers.
I am always a day late and a dollar short.
I will have to settle for getting in on the second edition after all the elite get the bugs worked out of the first edition.
