Yes, you will be fine with 33's on the rubi with 4.1. People have a weird obession with massively overgearing their rigs. they drive on the highway with the engine spinning at 3500 rpm or more all the time. DUMB!
My buddy has them on the TJ we were working on. I love them on that. That's why they are going on both the wrangler and the patriot this spring. I had AT51 last go round. They lasted a decent amount of time, but they had a weird handing thing going on when new for the first 2000-3000kms...
Does the compass have 18's? if so, I would move to 17s to get a better tire selection. I like the kumho at 51 I had on my pat but I am trying the AT3W Falkens this spring.
We have no problems with that here. Most campgrounds are booked well in advance and all of them have seasonal camping sites to pay for their bottom line. Most weekend campers like my family have to take crappy sites because the seasonal campers get prime spots because they pay up front.

The old addage, RUN WHATCHA BRUNG! There are parts out there for the compass if you look, yes the cherokee has more, but it's been in the market longer. With a few items your compass can be a really good travelling rig.
It could something as simple as a tie rod not tightened to spec. When I got my patriot off the show room floor the people who built it put a screw through a coolant hose for the heating system and it was spilling out hot coolant on my foot while driving. Things happen.
Yeah, I have not adjusted anything yet. My friend has the PSC on his TJ and it's very solid feeling and the way I like it. I am planning on keeping my Jeep for at least 10 years so that upgrade will be worth it for me. In the meantime, I will do the adjustment on the worm gear.
