    Any vegan overlanders out there?

The last post we made we were dipping our toes in the vegetarian land. I just got back from the grocery store. All vegetarian grocery trip. We are making this choice for health reasons. I have some issues that the doctor said cutting out meats would benifit me greatly. Plus, you will just...

Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

I have a F150 in my family now, and my boss has a Tundra TRD 4 door. The ford is more powerful, more comfortable and feels lighter on its feet too. EDIT: Former boss, have not worked there since march. I have driven his truck on delivery a few times and our ford is MUCH better.

Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

I would go slide in camper with an f150, upgrade the suspension for the weight of the camper and give'r. 200,000 cheaper than a small earthroamer, just as comfortable, and capable.

Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

Are you in a snowbelt where they use salt on the roads....if so, FORD all the way. Both toyota and Dodge have terrible rust resistance. Around here, 5 year old dodges are full of cancer and toyotas are in the shop getting chasis swaps. Meanwhile my 2003 F150 was still going strong until I...

    Mountain biking

We had 4 days in a row where it was over 6deg celcius, was great. Never got on bike, but worked on my jeep some! just getting cold again now. No snow, ice etc. This time last year the island was in the middle of "snowmageddon". This year, mowing the lawn. But, hey, global warming is not...

    SVO ....Small Vehicle Overlanding

People travelling in the small rigs, I HIGHLY recommend a Sylvansport Go. We LOVE ours. It gives you great tent space, plus lots of room to lug your gear with you. Worth every dollar we paid for it!

    Magellan TRX7.... thoughts?

I have a samsung galaxy tab A 8. It's better than my ipad 6th gen for signal reception, better than my iphone 11 as well. I am moving away from apple at a rapid pace. They are now the Canada Goose jacket of the tech world.

Pop the covers off and count the teeth on the ring and pinion for both front and back, if they are not the same, change one to match. easy and cheaper than buying a rear end only to find out the front was different again.

FYI, I would install new in any critical part like that. It's not that big a price difference.

Wow, We brought ours home from the dealer on a wed, i put a set of stupid blue headlight bulbs in it. Went to gander on friday to a restaurant for a friends birthday, and on the way back 2 moose walked on the road in front of me. A Large cow and a calf. I picked the calf and 18,000 dollars...

    The New Ford Bronco

I would have gladly swapped my JK for a new 4 Door, but 7995 for a mini lift, 35s and some lockers, is outrageous.

    The New Ford Bronco

The stamped ones on your F250 are MUCH beefier than the tinfoil that comes on cross overs. I am replacing mine on the pat with the skids from the FDII version. They are actual skid plates compared to the ones that are on it now.

I would go XJ just because it's a jeep and the aftermarket for it is insane. Plus, I have a soft spot for XJs.

I would go one step further, the availability of stock parts would make me choose my rigs. That being said, I had a 99.5 Pathfider chilcoot trail edition brand new, I loved it. I would not hesitate with the xterra.
