    2019 Ford Ranger

In europe they are they the best selling pick-up and there are plenty of mods. Not sure how easy or cost effective would be for you to import it from Europe or Australia I see frontrunner outfitters already offers some stuff on the US site.

I feel your pain, mine is 77 kg.. to put it up it is 3 man job . I just moved in to a house with a bigger garage and I want to test a chain hoist with a couple of straps arround it. Good advice fot keeping the height and the weight as low as possible.

If you want an RTT and specially if you go for a harshell wich I would recommand, roof racks are a waiste of money and not need it weight. Some solid roof bars like Rhino rack heavy duty will do. You can add some bracketes easily for an awning, or some recovery boards, etc...

Thinking out loud - "If it breaks on the trail - can I fix it?"

In my experience Murphy's law will always prevail , what ever you don't carry and /or you don't have the skills for will break. If you carry an alternator, the starter will go.. and so on. Preventive maintence and knowing your limits will go a long way. If you fell like you are at the limit...
