Before I fell victim of the Overland - YouTube Craze and decided to go all in with Roam Adventure Cargo Boxes, and Pelican Vault Cases I used the Rightline Cargo Bags for my SUV. I had one mounted on the Roof and one mounted on the rear hatch. 100% waterproof, they did the job from AZ to FL and...
I run the Smittybilt 12k Synthetic Winch on my Ram, and I have plans on adding a 9 to 10k for my CJ.
Now just setback, break out the popcorn and watch EFRT S5*EP24 - Stranded for 3 days in the Mountains.
I ended up adding the Yahama SC2300i Inverter Generator as my back up to the Jackery 1000 as my backup. It worked like a Gem. I also keep a Type S lithium Jump Starter in the Ram.
Maybe this summer we can setup a group trip, I just moved back east after 26 years in AZ. I haven't fished since my pre-college years growing up in UpState NY for Small Mouth Bass and Rainbow Trout. I really would like to get into Fly Fishing this summer.
As already recommended I would go with the A/T over a M/T tire, I run KO2's on my CJ5 and I run Pro Comp A/Ts on my Ram. Everyone has their own personal preference here, so I would just do your research. I was looking for a 10ply A/T for my Ram when I switched from BFG to ProComp.
While I don’t own a Taxxa Mantis or Cricket I have been shopping around and you will find some custom reviews on YouTube that you might find interesting.

Well here's my check list (my winter camping prep and gear)
With your camping experience I don't need to...
Love the Jeep by the way, you lucked out - it looks ready to go as is.
Looking at the tips above is exactly why I joined Overland Bound, and why I really enjoy this Forum.
Since I like to go overboard with Jeeps I'll defer to the more level headed recommendations above.
I would however recommend...
Like you I also had a really bad accident, one that had me almost bleeding out in the middle of the desert. For the last 5 years I had been a little scared to hit the trails again.
I will ride my MTBs for now and then
Treat myself to a new E bike.
Man I miss the summer rides, taking the ski lift...
Chris, Love the new MTB; is this your first E-Bike? Did you notice a big difference between the old School vs. E Bike on the trails?
I can take you way back in time when I use to Rock my Iron horse A Frame (No Suspension for the first year) upgraded to the Judy SL, must have racked in over 5k...
