We had a nice time in PEI a couple years ago.
Sat hi to the Arsenault family for us. You can find them...everywhere
The water was so warm, the people were so nice. Good food. Cant wait to go back
Well over 20% increase here. In some spots 30 or more.
Chip shortage sucks, though. I've got to spend the next month provisioning desktops and laptops for deployment.
I couldn't caress about start-stop, though. I was always told that most engine wear occurs when starting, and I cant imagine a...
F*ck-all! Only a 9% jump might be acceptable! Its nuts here. I'd try and find the numbers but I fear I am treading too far off topic and my posts might get deleted.
I'll get back on topic for the rest of my responses. Chip shortage = bad.
Congratulations! Sounds like a great trip!
This was our assessment as well. We were just doing the same thing, but from Boston, back in mid to end of May. Yellowstone was amazing but we have the Whites, Berkshires and Greens not too far from us. The therms and pools, and a little more savage...
Yes, @Tundracamper and @M Rose , I fully agree. Housing IS a seller's market and bidding war right now, here, too. $100k over asking in some instances. And the banks wont finance houses at all of the crazy asking prices, so buyers with a few bucks are being told to pay the difference or go away...
I have heard that spacers make a harsh ride, but I see the ones you picture have A arms with it. I'm betting the Belltech would provide the better ride. The collar on the shocks is just set higher than the sock ones. Same thing Bilstein 5100's do
Same for the home buyer market. A few months after mortgage forbearance ends, I think there will be an infusion of houses to market and I hope asking prices go down. As it is, we are seeing sold houses going for less than the asking price.
Reliability. Status.
But the last brand new vehicle I bought was an 06 Honda Civic SI. It was a great car but that was the first and last time I will ever buy new again, unless I come into a lot of money and depreciation doesnt matter to me
Your ECU learns your typical fuel economy and calculates distance to empty / range.
I am guessing the battery had to be disconnected and the ECU is now defaulting to a standard distance to empty figure, until it learns your routine.
Amazing the rodents got to such a new vehicle so thoroughly...
The chip shortage is affecting all cars.
I've yet to see one Bronco on the road. Persinally, I've only some Bronco Sports. Theres a big difference, though, as far as I'm concerned. Like the 85 Bronco vs the Bronco II. One is not the other.
I've seen trucks waiting on chips and I've seen trucks...
See? That's the other part of it, for me. Change the CA's, which then forces me to buy different wheels, and so on. The closer to stock, or compatible with stock, the better. I want different wheels if I want different wheels. Not if one modification forces another. Which forces yet another...
Uh, is that a coil-over setup? My 14 GMC Sierra is a coil-over setup and I swear, when removing the coil from the shock, your last will and testament should be in order, unless you have a Branick wall mounted spring compressor!
I also have the Bilstein 5100's and like them. I did manage to get...
I can see the value in what @ M Rose is saying. Not every situation rises to the level of a balls-to-the-wall SAR/EMS/ Med Flight response. Sometimes it's just a minor emergency and explaining g to someone for a minute would help. But I also like what Kent and Downs are saying for that time you...
Two things:
1) Glad it wasnt life or death. I've read articles where inexperienced drivers have hit thier PLB because they had a flat tire. Nothing to be done there except a fine, maybe.
2) I cant imagine any of the feedback would have gone off the track, otherwise it would have been deleted by...
20 - minute chopper? Sir, the flight crew has to scramble and do a pre-flight check before they get off the ground, if there is even one available. It would be extremely rare to get a chopper on site so fast in a remote area, especially where no organized helipad is available. SAR may or may not...
Wrong people showed up? Who exactly are the "correct responders" if not the designated first responders? Med flight isnt coming out because a logger on a HAM is calling for help. They send BLS or ALS depending on the described injury. ALS, once on scene, determines whether or not to bundle and...
Eh, I dont know...I have worked for a private ambulance company, and alternately have been in a position where med flight was needed. Med Flight doesn't usually just mobilize at the say so of some random person on a HAM, I dont think. There are official channels through which a med flight is...
