I'm fairly new to the forum, I live in the White Mountains and I try to get out as much as time allows. I have a 1998 Tacoma and I recently started working on a camping trailer.
From this weeks camping trip.
Got a little camping done this week with my two youngest. All in all it was a great trip. One of my take away observations was that the trailer puts the tent a little to high, not extreme, but more than I would have liked.
Cables coming off the bumper are limb savers, stowed under the hood when not in use.
Ya, another forum member advised me against routing the wires there as well. I have since rerouted them away from the braided air line.
I went with a Viair constant duty compressor. Seems to work good so far. I placed an air chuck on the front and rear bumpers and the switch in the center console.
So I got tired of having to teardown camp every time I wanted to drive somewhere. So I decided to build an Expo trailer.
I started off with a 4x6 V nose cargo trailer. I added my Roadshower, built some cross mounts and mounted my RTT.
