This is where we went last winter. We went mid January. I was expecting snow, but we ran into very little snow. Planning another trip out that direction this year. Maybe we will have snow this time.

In the case of the box style trailer in the video it would be hard for trees to hit it since the body is only 4' wide and my Jeep is 6' wide plus it is about the same height. I would put a foamie up against a non-back supported aluminum skinned trailer anytime. A backed aluminum skinned trailer...

They can be cheap and in general a budget build over a traditional built trailer. Design is in the eye of the beholder for sure. A foamie can be simple, but it can be so much more too. This is my first build as proof of concept. This one came in under $1500.00 and weighs 510lbs. My wires...

Good call. It does seem as of right now fires are still prohibited https://oregonstateparks.org/index.cfm?do=v.dsp_featureArticle&articleId=135 . Nothing mentioned about a permit required.

In preparation for long distance gas stops on the last two trips of the year, I finally got around to installing the old Jeep TrailBlazer auxiliary tank in the Jeep. I received this tank when I purchased the Jeep 19 years ago.... I guess it was about time.
