Hi @Pindal - Thanks for the info above. We actually already own a CVT roof top tent, but I'm looking for a topper to put it on, as I currently run bed bars for my Tacoma, but I need to enclose our dogs and gear on trips now.
You'll be happy with your CVT. We just bought my father-in-law a...
Hi all,
Given that our family is growing and we'll be bringing our dogs and kids with us on overlanding trips, I need to switch from our bed rack to a cab-height topper. So far, I've been looking at both the A.R.E. Overlander and A.R.E. HD Series.
Are either of these good choices for running...
Yeah, and I imagine that it's going to be pretty busy this weekend also.
How are you hearing about the OB events? I obviously got notice of this event, but hadn't heard of anything going on at Twin Lakes
Agreed. I'm going to take up welding just for this purpose, with the goal of creating an integrated roof and bed rack.

I would also worry that you couldn't open the cover with the brackets on, so getting anything out of your bed is...
So the rack I bought is the one in the link below. I was nervous when I bought it because I didn't think that it would support the 120lb roof top tent that I carry, especially in dynamic offroad situations. The owner confirmed that it would however, so I went on a whim and bought it...
If you have any questions just let me know. I've experimented with several different things, so I can hopefully help you nail down a setup that works for you. Before you buy a rack, let me know. I've had plenty of headaches with my KB Voodoo rack, and have had to do my own modifications to make...
I use a Canon S120 for everything. I've always thought about moving to a larger DSLR camera, but the point and shoot size of this thing really helps when going out on trips. The picture quality is usually good enough to print 20x30 prints without any blur. Highly recommended!
