JKU Rear Seat Delete - Storage Platform

I like that wooden rear seat delete, especially the part when you drop in those yellow tops. I have a 2 door JK and have deleted my worthless rear seat and I want to build something like yours as well. My skills are much lower though so it will not grace the time that it takes to actually take a...

    New Member from AZ

Welcome fellow AZ'r. We just completed our move to Tucson from Phoenix. You can camp up at Crown King - drive up easy front way or harder back way. You can come down here to Tucson and camp at Mt Lemmon and feel what 30 degrees cooler is like :). They have plenty of campsites down here if you...

    Gaia GPS versus Onx maps

I'm interested in the findings as well. I thought that Onx was for hunting only too.

    This Thing Is HUGE!

What works great for me - a military ruck sack. Cheap - free, easy to slide the straps through the wheel and buckle it down and it's tough. I am the silver Jeep on the end.

GMRS Antenna mounting solution (I think)

This is what I did to my light pods.

GMRS Antenna mounting solution (I think)

You can also fab a small bracket to attach to the light pods on the hood. I just did the same thing with my new dual pod mounts on my JK. I used the lower mounts for my lights and the upper mounts for my antennas. Ham on one side and CB on the other. The ham mount is also going to have a dual...

Do you have issues with your engine overheating? The radiator seems pretty well blocked off from fresh air.

That was a actually up north of Phoenix at Table Mesa. We have had quite a bit of rain and snow this year.

Will you be moving or just visiting AZ? So many places to wheel here - you will love it. Remember slow and steady here in the desert.

Up northwest of Prescott enjoying the cooler weather. Starting to build it out now that I have moved to Tucson.

I really like your setup. I, too, have the struggles of fitting everything into a 2 door JK. But I love this thing.

I am looking forward to tomorrow's meet. Too bad we don't know how many vehicles/people will be showing up for it. Definitely hope that it is more than 3 vehicles, especially if we have someone driving down from Phoenix to join us. See you all at 6pm, in my Jeep.
