I had 268,000 on a '95 Bronco, the 5.8L 351windsor. Plenty on that truck had been worked on and plenty more needed some attention but it hung in there.
Something I came across that I plan to add early next year are these truck bed wall racks:

I put a truck bed topper on my Ram that has the open-out side windows and then strapped in a Husky tool trunk that has my 12v setup sectioned off in 1/3 of it and use the...
I wouldn't expect the bugs to be too bad after a few weeks of nights below 70deg, but I honestly don't know. Mosquitos were our only issue, but I think if we were here in the peak of summer the black-flies would probably also be a problem.
Not very close to you, but for your library of knowledge, I offer the following.
Just spent a few nights on Cape Lookout in NC:
Paid for one of the two vehicle ferry services to shuttle us to the island (about $145 round trip; truck+passengers)
Cape Lookout Cabins & Camps (and ferry service)...
Love your Rebel. So many similarities between my vision of mine and some of your earlier choices... even the blue merle aussie =)
I'll start checking out the videos tonight!
One of the last days of a recent "Mountains to Sea" trip that I've been trying to do for a few years now. 2 nights in Linville Gorge around Old NC 105, then 2 more nights in Uwharrie NF followed by a couple more nights on Cape Lookout with the lighthouse in the background.
I meant to update I also just purchased from their spare parts list, a new bag v.2020 T4Plus/T8. A post from Gazelle on their youtube video introducing the updated versions they mention the bag size was increased. My only real gripe with my tent is the bag is JUST big enough for the tent making...
Just finished our latest adventure with the T4Plus. We spent a few nights on the beach at Cape Lookout. I had not yet tried this tent in any strong winds and was a bit nervous about it. It held up well. Definitely want to tie out the hubs and the top corners though. There's so much surface area...
As a very self-conscious owner of a couple of loud-mouthed but otherwise well behaved dogs, I can't abide poorly tended dogs. "Yo man, I've got a shovel or some bags if you need one to handle that land mine over there." would be my first approach. Relocating said land mine to under the...
Just thought I'd drop in to share a recent (today, in fact) experience with Northridge4x4.
First week or so of September I put in an order for what seemed to be the last ARB zero 73qt fridge in the country. Every other place had them listed as back-ordered. I called them directly to confirm it...
That's such a great place (if you don't mind dodging cow-pies on the trails). I "discovered" this place while hiking around the AT and Grayson Highlands. Haven't driven in there yet, how was the trail?
I've not had this experience with Fiat/Dodge/Ram/Chrysler… (whatever). We have had a journey and a Durango in the last 8 years that have had some electronic issues, some cooling system issues that were pretty early on in their life. Covered by warranty with not much fuss that I can remember. No...
