Don’t know the size of your mattress, but Amazon makes a really great futon mattress that is only about $300 and it sleeps really well. It is nice and thick and heavy with a lot of Springs. James

I think there is a General x2 also that is geared more for trails, less for mud. Sometimes Expediton Overland runs the x2 if its dry.

I have the E rated and in rocks at 25psi on my 2003 Ford Expedition they are getting pretty thrashed. Not only the sidewalls, but also the tread blocks. Lots of cuts, notches, and half gone tread blocks. Like I said, they are noisy on the road, but I agree they do not overtake conversation...

Either one should be fine. Welded steel is perfectly fine, they build cars and buildings out of it. Steel flexes... Aluminum is fine too. Aluminum doesn’t flex, it breaks instead. Either way should be good, I just had an excellent experience with TRUXXX customer service. James

That worked perfect on my 2003 Expedition. Pucks (actually called a spacer lift) will only work in the front. The rear uses leaf springs. Did you check out the TRUXXX kit for our trucks? It has pictures for reference. James

Yah I am anti CVT... In truth I am anti auto trans, but it is very difficult to find manual transmissions on cars these days. I wish people weren’t so lazy. Manuals will run for years with very little to no maintenance. James
