Tried going to the Horseshoe Bend overlook near Condon, OR today. Ran into the White Elephant Ranch before reaching the end of the road, but found this nice fixer upper or future empty nester, just needs a little TLC. :)

According to the map from the FS it looks like FS19 is closed at 410, so no access to FS19 and areas off it. They still haven't updated the 60% containment from two days ago.

Right now the Naches area shows a little hope based on the 60% containment, and around the state line area of the blues seems fairly safe, as of now. Lots of haze in Oregon today near the border. Watching for updates as the week passes. InciWeb the Incident Information System

That is becoming a common issue everywhere in the west right now unfortunately. Hopefully it will improve here soon, but it is that time of year again.

Taking a mini vacation by force on Labor Day weekend, off Friday through Tuesday there. Kind forced by corporate to take time off, hit max vacation and PTO, they notified myself and my boss that I need a vacation. So there are possibilities there Lou if you can play. Five days off for two days...

I could be up for something, while I am not quite as high off the ground as you or Lou, you know most of the places I go. Sticking about town this weekend, so I will be itching to get the truck back on dirt.

That's not much different than a 2.5L jeep 4-banger, but they wont die and crawl into some amazing places, though they do so slowly. :)

Finally installed the front tow hooks and plastic surrounds that Ram didn't apparently feel my truck should have up front from the factory.
