Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Thanks for the tip, have a walmart down the street on road 68 and they should have some, if not there are a few other places nearby home, may be more fun rigging it onto the truck. Not sure how well we will be able to see the flags through the smoke though, lol.
Kinda playing things loosely this weekend myself, may sneak out there to meet up, but it all depends on how the weekend goes. May end up running to Eugene/Springfield area to help friends evacuate if needed. Only moved here a year ago from there so still have a lot of friends and family in...
We are all hoping for that. I have a bunch of friends in Oregon that are out of there homes and hoping they have someplace to go back to, and a couple that know they don't. Bad fire season.
She loves the view, just hates smashing her knee into the door, and swears I do it intentionally. Blue Lake is where all the jeep buggies ran to after the Blue Slide. I wasn't following them. They actually made it there and back down to camp before I got back down, but the were moving fast and...
Thanks Ceg. I have a fair amount of optional pinstripes from my adventures, they usually come with the territory (being full sized doesn't help), especially territory you have yet to explore. I had no idea what the road to Blue Slide looked like until I was there. My wife wasn't thrilled by the...

How was the run to Quilomene Ceg?
Need pics, sounds like a fun place to go to. Just didn't work for my schedule, had to go to Portland today. Not sure I quite fit into your Jeep group either lol.
Despite the haze from the fires in the area, the views from Blue Slide Lookout Tower and Divide Ridge in the Washington Cascade Mountains are fantastic and work the drive.
On the way to Blue Slide Lookout Tower, Cascade Mountains, Washington. Lots of rock with occasional deep silt too. But the view at the end the road is worth getting there.
The dust going to Blue Slide was deep silt in a few places too. Below as the saying goes “one of these things ain’t like the others” . Needless to say they were laughing and shaking their heads as they went past on their way up, but were laughing with me when I pulled in. Think they were a...
I can’t even imagine being behind someone in that, much less in an open YJ. You’d need a full respirator just to breath back there. My bed is full of dirt/silt from it. Hopefully you were being a little willing to wait for it to settle. I hit several of those stretches and it looked like the...
