Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Can you elaborate on the bold text in red? Are you seeing a lack of aftermarket for Toyota 4 Runners? With all due respect, I find this hard to believe. I agree parts more expensive, but with 4 runners being one of the most popular rigs out there, how can this be?
Not my listing but I saw this the other night on Craigslist.

Definitely unique and truly rare here in the states.
Ad says it's in Pacifica.
What cool rig.
Any of you guys mount your compressors underneath between the frame rails? My rig happens to have a lot of space and I was thinking of putting a 100% duty cycle compressor and 2-5 gallon tank down there. Plumb it to QD at the front and rear with a switch in the cab and in the rear compartment...
I've also been using the methods described in previous posts to get access to my roof rack. Standing on rear tire, standing on the rear seats. I haven't tried standing on the windowsill as I'm afraid my 230lbs would break something. Eventually I would like to get ladder mounted on the side...
I'm also looking at different options for my 03 Suburban. Pickings are slim for mine and I'll either get an ARB made for a 100 series LC and mod it to fit or go full custom. ARB does make a bumper for my rig, but it is HUGE and doesn't look right. I prefer something that doesnt make my rig...
I really like it a lot. It is made by Wilco. The the mechanism to hold it tight in the hitch receiver is well engineered. No wobble at all.
The only thing I dont like about are the costs for the addons. A verticle hi-lift mount will set you back $100. If you want the dual jerry can...
Smittybilt X20 12k w/ synthetic line.
Checking for fitment. Might need to get rid of the pre-runner light bar.

Hey everyone,
Joined recently after finding out about the forums after attending a meet in Emeryville last Dec. 2016.
I knew about the youtube channel but didn't know there were forums as well.
Glad to be a part of a great community and I hope to be meeting more of you guys out on the trails...
Oh my.....
Do want!
But I do like the idea of having any sort of backup be it motorized or not.
I might be mistaken but on one of those 2wd motorcycles (the Rokon I believe) you could also store fuel in the tires?
EDIT: You could store fuel or water in the hubs.
Wouldn't a 125cc...
Santa brought me a Samsung S2 8.0 tablet for Christmas. I have Backcountry Navigator Pro installed on it but haven't had a chance to get it mounted in my rig yet. That RAM mount looks beefy enough, but I'm curious to hear what others are using. I'm especially concerned with it moving around...
I have the 5100's on all 4 corners and I'm pretty happy with them. Much better than OEM. My rig is big and heavy regardless if it is empty or full and seems to feel the same. As needs change I may upgrade but for now they perform just fine.
I seem to recall some winch line covers that I saw awhile back? Found a few links to posts on other forums, but no real place to buy it. It is a simple enough design. Made of neoprene or nylon material and cut the width of the winch spool. It had a cut out for where the winch line extends to...
Just curious, I know they are bulky, but if you had the space couldn't a small smokey joe grill be used as a small fire pit? You have the added bonus of having an actual grill with you as well.
At the last meet I attended in Emeryville, CA at the Black Diamond Cafe, there was a crazy cool 80 series owned by a guy named Benny. He had 12 gallons of water along the top of his rig that he did in either 4" or 6" plastic pipe. Not sure if it was PVC or ABS. He had it hooked up to an...
